Emel Saban

8 years experience

I was originally drawn to psychology because of the theory, history, and range of ideas in this field. But when I saw how valuable and empowering professional therapeutic support can be for people, it became my career.

I offer a supportive space where people can vocalise things they might not be able to anywhere else. Together we can explore what has brought you to therapy, talk about what you're struggling with, or reflect on past experiences and how these could still influence the present. My aim is to help people manage whatever it is that they're going through and find better ways forward.

When working with someone, I believe in respecting their autonomy, being committed to therapeutic professionalism, and honesty. Curiosity and understanding of a person's subjective experiences helps me to establish a strong therapeutic relationship.
